Newlyn - 28th November

First selection of images from a visit to Cornwall last week, featuring my new Nikon 18-300mm lens which I am very pleased with, big improvement on the Sigma 18-200mm! Here's Newlyn on Wednesday 28th November.
A busy trawler pier, quite a few sailed later in the day.

The last of Stevenson's clasic wooden MFV's. PZ513 'Excellent' is being restored I understand . . sounds an excellent idea! She was until recently Cornwall's oldest working fishing vessel, given registry still remains open  this probably still stands. In 1996 she visited the Bristol Harbour Festival, has also attended other Maritime Festival's including one held in Brest, France.

The view across the 'new' pontoon berths.

Beam trawler 'Trevessa IV' on the slip.
