Fowey

Having arrived at Par on the railtour we joined two fellow adventurers and headed across to Fowey. With the sign spotted on the way in for 'boat hire' and the chance to go exploring off we went to the quayside and hired a boat! Having not spent any time in Fowey it was great to get afloat and see the cornish village at its best - from the water!

Two Cornish Shrimpers on the moorings, ideal boats for the area!

I will always have a soft spot for Plymouth Pilot's as seen here. My first boat was one of these.

And here's my next boat - a bigger version of our Fisher 25 the impressive 37 . . . one day!

Nice Images of Fowey Chris, now we are in Falmouth it is a 4 hour sail just right for a long weekend.

Ideal Keith, Ive looked at putting Picaro in Plymouth one day for much the same reason. It's around two hours to get there by car but once you're there . . . . as much as I love the Bristol Channel as a cruising ground the South West offers so much more!
